Turkish elections template

[edit]

Please stop addnig the Presidential elections. This has been discussed several times, and it was decided to only add elections open to the general public to these templates. Of course, you are more than welcome to create a separate template along the lines of {{Israeli presidential elections}} or {{Pakistani presidential elections}}, both of which are templates for non-public presidential elections. пﮟოьεԻ 57 08:37, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but you being "not interested" is irrelevant. I will continue to remove the presidential elections from the template. As noted above, if you want to link the presidential election articles, please create another template per standard. Cheers, пﮟოьεԻ 57 08:28, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As you seem unable to co-operate, and actually went out of your way to be obstructive (by getting the existing {{Turkish presidential elections}} deleted when I had already explained to you how these templates are used), I have recreated the template and added it to the page. Please don't try and change it back again. пﮟოьεԻ 57 22:32, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of List of foreign football players in Hong Kong First Division League, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: List of foreign football players in Hong Kong First Division League 2006–07. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 16:15, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give List of foreign football players in Hong Kong First Division League 2006–07 a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Lists of managers

[edit]

Hello. As far as i know, there are no formatting guidelines for lists of association football managers. The table you insisted on inserting into the List of NK Dinamo Zagreb managers and List of HNK Hajduk Split managers are therefore not mandatory, and to be honest I fail to see the point of having such a table in there as match statistics by manager for these two clubs were never released by a credible source (i.e. they are non-existent). I will therefore revert the tables to the previously used bullet-list format. Cheers. Timbouctou 14:58, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Foreign-born footballers who played for Australia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is nothing but listcruft, as well as inaccurate.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. GiantSnowman 14:56, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Foreign-born footballers who played for Australia is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Foreign-born footballers who played for Australia until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. GiantSnowman 17:42, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Türkiye Kupası'nda o sezonun finalistlerinin listeleneceği şablonu neden yok ettiniz? Aşağıdaki örneklere benzer bir uygulama yapmamızda sakınca mı görüldü? — Ekin(talk·@) 08:23, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects

[edit]

Hi Türk Süvarisi! I declined to delete the redirects Template:Turkish Cup Seasons and Template:Turkish Cup Winners, because those templates have been around for some time. It is possible that there are external links to these pages, which would be broken if we deleted the redirect. Thanks! Jujutacular (talk) 14:30, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Stagnation and Growth of the Ottoman Empire

[edit]

Hi Türk Süvarisi, You have changed the stagnation period of the Ottoman Empire treaties template. I have no objection. Actually, Sokullu's death is considered as the end of the growth and treaty of Zsitvatorok is considered as its document. However you have left Growth period on the template untouched. To be consisteent you should also change the Growth dates. But there is an even bigger problem. In WP there are articles about the perods of the Ottoman Empire. According to these, The Growth of the Ottoman Empire is from 1453 to 1683 (Second Vienna campaign) and the Stagnation of the Ottoman Empire is from 1683 to 1827, which is very awkward. Would you like to improve these articles with correct time spans ? Cheers Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 14:49, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merhaba Takabeg. Ben bilgi çıkarmamakla birlikte sadece daha düzenli hale getiriyorum. Sadece Kurtuluş Savaşı'na katılan Türk askerlerinde böyle bir düzenlik oluşmuş. Onu düzenliyorum. Bu kadar emek vererek düzenlediğimi sayfaları rica ediyorum geri almayın.--Türk Süvarisi (talk) 13:20, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Modern equipment and uniform of the Turkish Army, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gauge (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Removal of information from Turkish military lists

[edit]

Hi, you reformatted and removed information from various Turkish military lists like List of General Commanders of the Gendarmerie of Turkey (I undid a couple until I realised you'd done it everywhere). The reformatting is fine, but the removal of the information is not. Can you please preserve or restore existing information like birth/death dates etc? Especially for people who don't have their own entries, this is useful and should not be lost. Thanks, Podiaebba (talk) 11:08, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
